Location/Division Specific Information

This job position is for a US-based remote role.  

What will you do?

Provide SME level engineering support for large VMware, and cloud environments.  Responsible for crafting, building, testing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the virtual infrastructure following security policies and guidelines.Collaborate with the architecture team to complete both large and small environmental improvement projects.Operationalize VMware management takes, like patching, upgrades, monitoring, and logging.Ensure successful DR implementation, monitoring, testing of deployments.Share knowledge of the environment with the Global Secure Infrastructure Services team.Bring automation to improve efficiency.Ensure the highest possible level of server uptime and availability by proactively identifying and fixing infrastructure-related problems.Research and evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies to identify potential solutions.Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to propose innovative infrastructure solutions.

Education

4-year degree with a major in Computer Science from an accredited university or relevant work experience.

Experience

Proven experience in Windows and VMware Platform AdministrationProven experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud infrastructure management
