In the role of Sr. Environmental Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large, multidisciplinary projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexityResponsible for overall project management, proposal and cost estimate development, budgeting and invoicing, and management of projects’ financial key performance indicators to complete work on schedule and within budget.Take responsibility for project and staff management, such as tracking project deliverables, schedules, workload, reviewing invoices, and managing subconsultantsEstablish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.Supervise and mentor project teams and act as mentor for less-experienced environmental staffLead and manage planning and ecological field surveys and assessments, data interpretation, analysis, and report writing.Lead the development of NEPA documentation, including the assessment of project-related effects on environmental resources.Lead the development of federal, state, and local environmental and land use permit applications and permit acquisition.Provide QAQC and technical guidance on development of deliverables and implement QAQC procedures to promote high quality work.Support other project managers across disciplines in completing required studies, documents, and reports.Perform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsProven experience managing environmental review and permitting for transportation projectsBachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or closely related field10 years experience in NEPA environmental documentation, regulatory compliance and permitting in Pacific Northwest. Familiarity with the suite of technical disciplines required to support environmental review and permitting in (e.g. land use, natural resources, cultural resources).5 years project management experienceSelf-starter with excellent writing and communication skillsStrong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research skillsThe ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field10 years related experienceA minimum of 5 years of project management experienceFamiliar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak preferred), project management software (Prolog preferred)Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
