A company in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Sr. Estimator to join their growing team. In this role, you will perform quantity and cost take-offs, clarify and make assumptions accurately, and identify and resolve conflicts or missing data in plans and specifications. You will create bid lists and invite subcontractors and suppliers to bid, attend design meetings to understand project scope and requirements, and ensure the entire project scope is understood while accounting for design changes. Collaborating with subcontractors, designers, and owners to find cost savings when the budget is exceeded is essential. Additionally, you will review RFPs and contracts to identify scope, terms, and risks, obtain and review proposals and quotes from subcontractors or vendors, and thoroughly review all documents to identify any stringent requirements. You will also review and correct the work of other estimators and build strong relationships with key vendors.
