Job Summary

As a Sr. Business Analyst with 12 to 16 years of experience you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will apply your expertise in Jira, project management, Scrum, Agile and regulatory analysis to drive successful project outcomes. Your contributions will directly impact the companies efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities Own the analysis and documentation of business requirements to ensure alignment with project goals. Coordinate the development and implementation of project plans using Agile methodologies. Provide mentorship on the use of Jira for project tracking and management. Facilitate Scrum meetings to ensure effective communication and teamwork among team members. Conduct detailed regulatory analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with partners to identify and prioritize project requirements. Develop detailed project documentation including user stories use cases and process flows. Monitor project progress and make vital adjustments to ensure timely delivery. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and potential risks. Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement. Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Mentor junior analysts to enhance their skills and knowledge. Use project management tools to supervise and report on project metrics. Have strong Data warehouse experience along with ETL. Have experience in Availability Management within the Travel and Hospitality domain. Qualifications Have a proven background in regulatory business analysis. Exhibit excellent project management skills. Show proficiency in developing detailed project documentation. Display strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Have excellent communication and teamwork skills. Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members. Maintain a high level of attention to detail. Be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. Have a proven track record of successful project delivery. Be committed to continuous improvement and learning. Possess a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards. Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000-$120,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
