Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician
Why Wendy's To perform daily repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment and property in Wendy’s restaurants. Ensures timely and accurate completion of scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM), while providing ongoing training on equipment operation and PM training at the restaurant level. Work environment requires on call rotations, may require overtime, and may require working in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Reactive Maintenance –

·         Performs demand repairs on restaurant equipment and property as identified through work orders entered into My Techconnect.

·         Proactively creates and completes work orders for critical issues found during restaurant visits not entered by operations.

 Preventative Maintenance –

·         Performs preventative maintenance service as outlined in PM work orders.

·         Creates work orders for needed repairs identified during PM.

 Proper utilization of My TechConnect system –

·         Ensures work orders are completed in the time frame identified by the priority codes assigned to the work orders by organizing and planning daily work load.

·         Maintains accurate parts and company owned tool inventories.

·         Ensures warranty process for company restaurants is followed.

·         Reports the condition of equipment and property as well as maintenance status to assist

with capital planning.

  Personal Development –

·         Participates in Individual Development Planning process.

·         Completes required safety training to comply with company guidelines.

·         Stays current on industry standards.

What we expect from you Education: High School Diploma or GED

Additional education information (major, etc.):

Knowledge / Skills / Experience -

In depth technical knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical repair, and plumbingMust be able to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladder up to 30ft, and work in extreme climates. Work requires kneeling, bending, twisting, and handling of tools. Ability to read electrical schematics and understanding of 3 phase electrical and use of various testing equipmentLegal licensing may be required in some locations5 or more years’ experience in directly related HVAC, refrigeration and general maintenance/repair work or equivalent combination of education and experienceCertification – EPA Certification Type I and IICompetencies – Customer Orientation, Learning Agility, Initiative, Functional Expertise, Organizing and Planning.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors.  This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. *  The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
