Sr. Field Service Engineer, Incident Investigation

We are currently seeking a Sr. Field Service Engineer, Incident Investigation. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in Field Automotive Engineering, including diagnostic systems, vehicle systems, and ADAS technology. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude by approaching his or her work with determination and exhibits the ability to work independently and with a team. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. 

The Role: 

Provide detailed analysis of various types of vehicle incidents in the Field across the United States Review signal data to determine incident root cause Prepare reports to explain the results of findings Work closely with a team of specialized incident investigation engineers Embed with vehicle engineering teams, providing feedback gathered from investigations Acquire a thorough knowledge of Lucid vehicle software and hardware systems and strategies 

Expectations: 

5+ years of Field Automotive experience  Familiarity with vehicle systems including motors, brakes, and ECUs Eagerness to acquire a thorough knowledge of incident investigation and Lucid vehicle systems Bachelor of Science, in the areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Computer Science, or other related fields. Ability to travel up to 25% domestically within the United States 

Advantageous: 

Experience with Crash Investigation Experience working with High Voltage Batteries Experience with Fire Cause and Origin Investigation Technical writing experience  Hands-on experience working on vehicles

Education Requirements: 

Degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
