Sr. Finance Analyst, Dairy Business Unit
OVERVIEW: Come play a critical finance role within our Dairy Business Unit (DBU)! The Dairy category is growing and rapidly evolving, and we have ambitions to capture that growth and return the business to a position of leadership. The Dairy Business Unit is a portfolio of products and brands with over $1B in sales, with strong & recognizable brands like Yoplait, Go-Gurt, :ratio, Oui, and Mountain High. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Partner with DBU finance managers and DBU finance director in determining best tools & processes Develop reporting & processes to support forecasting & analytics requirements Lead key P&A tasks for the DBU and influence strategic decision making through the Demand Review (volume) & Monthly Business Review (P&L) Partner with Brand/P&A finance manager to lead the annual financial planning process Own consumer & admin forecasting processes in partnership with the Morning Foods operating unit, P&A team, DBU Brand team and DBU Brand Experience team Build strong relationships across DBU finance team & with cross-functional team to influence decision making & future ways of working Member of the Brand/P&A finance team with exposure to & potential project work within commercial finance (product innovation and renovation, productivity, SRM etc.) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: B.A. or B.S in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field 3+ Years of work experience Innovative mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo Strong work ethic with high attention to detail and accuracy Partner for Impact: Influence stakeholders via effective communication Situational Agility: Be proactive, respond quickly, and smoothly adjust to changes Process Excellence: Establish and enhance processes, and effectively organize work Intellectual curiosity and strong desire to learn Experience with Microsoft Office Tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous operating unit, sales/trade or supply chain experience Previous experience with planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Working knowledge of GMI Finance systems (SAP, AFO, Tableau) ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $79500.00 - $119400.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
