Sr. Finance Manager - Service Profitability

Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Oversee $1B+ of annual service costs across U.S. & Canada regions and segments + Be an active voice in global segment initiatives and reoccurring reviews. Interact with segment VPs/CEOs/CFOs. + Be able to link strategic global product/service initiatives to US & Canada sub-regions and vice-versa. + Play a leading role in the Long-Term Strategy (LTS) and Budget setting processes for U.S. & Canada service + Support the service Pricing efforts by bringing costing analytics and insights to the commercial strategy. Measure Pricing performance by segment and service offering categories + Consolidate inputs from regions, global supply chain, global products and productivity groups to produce monthly forecasts and variance analysis + Conduct deep analysis on cost drivers and drive targeted actions around key learnings + Lead customer level productivity actions while partnering with sales, sourcing, service delivery and ops. + Manage cost accounting processes and serve as subject matter expert to contain and troubleshoot errors + Develop and lead daily management systems (DMS) for key expense accounts within US & Canada service + Drive finance transformation efforts with focus on centralized forecasting, digitization of reports (Power BI), process automation and manual journal entry reduction. + Support SMAX implementation in U.S. & Canada region + Produce financial targets and drive achievement with rigorous monitoring and problem solving while partnering with various finance and non-finance leaders + Build and maintain service profitability walks with segment and sub-region layers. Find applicability of the learnings and drive targeted actions to improve profitability + Lead key projects and initiatives to enhance service profitability. Drive low margin socket conversion initiatives while working with cross functional teams + Responsible for designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting, including accounting policy implementations, SOX, distributed controllership, process simplification and internal controls over IPP monitoring and risk. Serve as controllership experts on financial system and ERP implementations. + Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within their discipline. May require strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy within own area, including control of resources and influences policy formulation. + May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view. + Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Work is subject to functional policy objectives. Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business. Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree (Economics, Finance, Accounting) from an accredited university or college, with 8+ years of progressive experience in areas such as accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, compliance management, and team leadership OR a graduate of GE HealthCare’s Financial Management Program and 6 years of experience in those areas **Desired Characteristics** + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems + Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects, influence, and lead teams + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
