Amazon.com is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Music Licensing team of the Amazon Music Finance team. In partnership with business, operations, and technology teams throughout Amazon, this position will drive strategic initiatives to improve financial modeling and deal negotiations through automation, process improvements, and defects prevention. This role will engage with executive leadership and cross functional teams to drive results.

The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. The right individual will have strong leadership skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. They will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment.

Key job responsibilities
> Driving planning and budgeting and related deliverables, and ensuring financial discipline and compliance.
> Prepare financial metrics, financial reporting, and financial analysis related to music licensing deals
> Engage in strategic initiatives with high degree of ambiguity
> Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish
> Partner with multiple business stakeholders; develop action plans; measure and analyze results
> Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances
