Sr. Financial Analyst
Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst to become an integral part of our team in the WADSWORTH, Ohio. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, supporting sales forecasting, budgeting processes, and providing financial expertise to various departments. Responsibilities: • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify key drivers and trends • Conduct variance analysis and comparison of actual performance against budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis • Support the preparation of various financial reports and participate in the planning and development of the annual consolidated budget • Monitor and update sales forecasts based on market conditions, sales pipeline, and business trends • Assist in maintaining financial models to support sales forecasting and budgeting processes • Monitor and analyze corporate expenses, identifying cost savings opportunities and efficiency improvements • Provide guidance and support throughout the budgeting process to ensure alignment with overall corporate financial goals • Develop insights into public customers and national retailers earnings reports to help the business understand the external environment • Assist with the preparation of financial performance reports for operations, and analyze variances between actual results and budget • Work closely with operations, supply chain, and other departments to provide financial expertise and support • Use data mining techniques and utilize tools such as Power BI to gather factual data within the organization and provide insights. Requirements • Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions • Demonstrated proficiency in Auditing is required • Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential • Proficiency in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is necessary • Must be skilled in using Microsoft Power BI • Experience with Variance Analysis is needed • Knowledge in the Manufacturing sector is beneficial • Must possess strong skills in Data Mining Techniques • Experience in the Wholesale Distribution industry is advantageous • Must be able to use Power BI effectively • Must be capable of handling sensitive financial data responsibly • Excellent communication and presentation skills are crucial • Must have the ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required • Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required • Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are beneficial.
