Sr. Financial Analyst
Description **This role is required to be on site the majority of the work week. Remote candidates will not be considered.** We are in search of a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team located in Archbold, Ohio. Your primary responsibilities will be centered around the financial planning and analysis of assigned functions throughout the business. This role necessitates a strong understanding of both financial and operational analysis to help drive business performance and decision-making. Responsibilities: • Develop operational financial and key performance indicators to guide decision-making processes. • Conduct financial analysis for capital and non-capital improvement opportunities, initiatives, and projects. • Analyze capacity utilization based on current and future projected demand, providing recommendations accordingly. • Support effective inventory management within the operations through analysis and recommendations. • Prepare and oversee the budgeting and forecasting of financial results for assigned functional areas throughout the business. • Evaluate business financial performance against budgeted results and provide insights to leaders on business performance drivers. • Collaborate on strategic and operational prioritization by providing appropriate financial planning and operational analysis. • Conduct ad hoc analysis of projects and investments to determine their financial impact and success. • Prepare financial presentations for leadership, including the drivers and drains of results. • Present financial information, including actual to budget variances, to management with P& L responsibilities. • Design and generate reports, financial and performance indicators to support the business. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Financial Analyst • Proficiency in Budget Processes is essential • Strong skills in Financial Analysis are required • Experience in the Manufacturing industry is desirable • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel, is necessary • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate complex financial information in an understandable manner • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
