Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting financial analysis that drives process improvements and enhanced decision making. This role is a mix of business and corporate finance and involves supporting assigned business units with in-depth analysis, while also supporting enterprise level reporting, analysis, budget and forecasting processes.

Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and deliver monthly reporting packages to Business Units and Corporate teams based on key performance indicators, providing detailed analysis and insights and actionable summary items.Analyze profit and loss statements for assigned Business Units and help Business Owners understand and manage their P&Ls.Partner with the Accounting, Sales and Operations teams to provide requested analysis and improve current business processes.Work closely with the IT team to automate reporting.Drive the annual budget process for assigned Business Units and create regular forecasts and reports based on budgeted v actual performance.Attend monthly regional P&L review calls as needed.Deliver ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.Exemplify the Reddy Ice Way and consistently strive for self-improvement.Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.Adhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential. Expert proficiency in Excel with the ability to manipulate large data sets.Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, especially as it pertains to the ability to summarize actionable data for executive review and informed decisions.Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional partnership capabilitiesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration requiredCFA / MBA or working toward completion is a plus.Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as a financial analystCPG and/or multi-location manufacturing and distribution industry experience preferred but not requiredExperience with a Business Planning & Consolidations (BPC) tool, is a plus.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
Typical office environment, generally sedentary position using computers, calculators, phones, and other office equipment. Limited travel may be required; a valid driver’s license and MVR are required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships and reason through complex business situations is essential.
