Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Operations Analyst. This role operates fully remotely and is centered around financial operation analysis with a focus on infrastructure server mainframe storage, cost savings, and reporting. You will also be involved with various billing systems and platforms such as ServiceNow CMDB, AWS, and Azure. Responsibilities: • Identify cost savings opportunities and track benefits within infrastructure server mainframe storage • Generate reports and maintain accurate records using your strong Excel skills • Utilize knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB infrastructure chargeback models, AWS services billing, and Azure services billing • Manage and process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Use your knowledge of Flexera, though not a strict requirement, to optimize workflow • Perform ad hoc financial functions and prepare financial notes as needed • Utilize skills in Microsoft Azure, AWS Technologies, and other relevant platforms • Manage the Configuration Management Database (MDB) and other related databases • Handle NIS and related processes. Requirements • Demonstrable experience as a Financial Analyst • Proficiency in Reporting with a focus on financial data • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables • Understanding of Benefit Functions within a financial context • Experience in Billing processes, preferably in a large organization • Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as required • Familiarity with Financial Notes and their appropriate application • Experience with Storage solutions, preferably in a corporate setting • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and AWS Technologies • Proven ability to identify and implement Cost Savings in financial operations • Experience with the Servicenow Application within a finance function • Understanding of Chargebacks and their application in financial management • Familiarity with Mainframe Application in a financial environment • Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) • Understanding and experience with NIS in a financial context Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
