Sr. Financial Analyst
Description We are inviting applications for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Service industry located in the City of Industry, California. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities including analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and collaborating with the accounting team. The position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team. Responsibilities: • Analyzing profit and loss statements to understand the financial status and identify growth opportunities. • Utilizing skills in Business systems and Data Mining Techniques to develop and prepare monthly operating and financial performance packages. • Identifying and reporting on key metrics to aid in strategic decision making. • Developing monthly and quarterly forecast models, and performing variance analysis of actual to forecasted results. • Leading the annual budgeting process, applying knowledge of Budget Processes and Capital Management. • Creating financial models for new business development, working with various levels of management to identify and utilize key operating assumptions. • Presenting these financial models to executive leadership and other key stakeholders. • Collaborating with the accounting team to understand and communicate operating results. • Utilizing knowledge of the Logistics Industry, Ground Transportation, Manufacturing Costs, and Manufacturing Company to perform additional duties as required to support the execution of both long-term and short-term strategies. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Financial Analyst. • Proficiency in business systems. • Familiarity with data mining techniques. • Solid understanding of accounting functions and auditing processes. • Experience with budget processes and capital management. • Knowledge of the logistics industry, particularly ground transportation. • Ability to assess and understand manufacturing costs. • Previous work experience in a manufacturing company is preferred. • Ability to analyze financial statements effectively.
