Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. Our mission depends on a Senior Financial Analyst joining our Defense Agencies Finance Team supporting the Enterprise IT Services Sector.  

The position offers the flexibility of a Hybrid work environment between our Falls Church Office and Home.


In this role, contributions to the mission include:

Provide strong Financial Analysis and Reporting for our DISA, and OMC Portfolio, annual revenue approximately $40-45M.Responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.Financial Experience with multiple government contract types (i.e. FFP, CPFF etc...)Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required.Prepare monthly forecast forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.Analyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections.Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple departments and levels of an organizationAct as a focal point for communication of financials.Identify, Track, Manage any financial risks and follow through to resolution.Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as FAR, CAS, SOX and other government regulations.Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.Analytical and problem solving mindsetMay have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.Knowledge of how to prepare an Estimate at Completion is a plus.Ability to prepare / review pricing with recommendations for ManagementProvide guidance and leadership to less-experienced financial analysts.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and plus 5+ years of finance experienceExperience with government contractingExperience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and/or complex modeling.Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are a must.Strong leadership skills: Ability to both support/guide while also challenging program team when neededEffective written and verbal communication skills.Strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and clientsHybrid Work Location at Falls Church Office 3x per week.US Person required
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle Analytics, Hyperion Smartview, and Subcontractor Timekeeping experience nice to have.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Knime is a plus
