Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Vallejo, California for a Sr. Financial Analyst. This role involves working closely with project management and internal stakeholders in the industry, ensuring accurate system reporting and supporting decision-making through financial data analysis. Responsibilities: • Systematically process relevant job documentation to support audit activities in collaboration with project management. • Ensure accurate reporting of systems by liaising with internal stakeholders on contract matters such as scope changes and subcontract revisions. • Actively track budgets and review expenditure in collaboration with department heads. • Analyze financial data to provide insightful support for decision-making. • Drive projects related to the implementation or upgrade of financial systems. • Lead in the enhancement of budget processes, leveraging skills in Microsoft Excel, and data mining techniques. • Manage accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives. • Conduct monthly financial reporting, providing detailed insights and recommendations.
