Sr. Financial Analyst
Description We are seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to our financial operations and strategy, necessitating a strong emphasis on cleaning and tagging AR, ACV and financial data, managing KPI reporting and analysis, and undertaking strategic projects. Our location in New York, New York offers a dynamic workplace in the financial planning and analysis industry. This role presents a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Undertake the cleaning and tagging of ARR and financial data to ensure accuracy and efficiency • Manage KPI reporting and analysis to provide strategic insights for decision making • Work on ad-hoc strategic projects to drive operational efficiency and execution • Collaborate across all functions of the organization to contribute to overall business goals • Utilize Excel Formulas, Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, and other Microsoft Excel tools to develop and manage complex financial models • Contribute to the reporting, strategic planning, and business analytics function of the Financial Planning & Analysis team • Ensure the reconciliation of financial data as part of maintaining accurate records • Employ skills in multivariate analysis to support business analytics and strategic planning. Requirements • Position: Sr. Financial Analyst • 4+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar. • Proficiency in KPI Reporting, with the ability to effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders. • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Demonstrated expertise in performing reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. • Proficient in Multivariate Analysis, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. • Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas and functions, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, & Financial Modeling. • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage large datasets and perform complex calculations. • Experience in creating financial models, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to develop financial models to support strategic decision making and business planning.
