Job Opportunity: Sr. Financial Analyst - Manufacturing Operations
We are currently seeking a meticulous and results-driven Sr. Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on manufacturing cost analysis, performance metrics, and operational reporting. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to provide actionable insights to support operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and trends to identify areas for improvement.
+ Collaborate with Operations leadership to provide performance analysis and recommendations for reducing costs and enhancing profitability.
+ Perform daily analytics on manufacturing activities as required.
+ Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory movements in the Work Order process.
+ Implement and drive process improvements while ensuring adherence to corporate controls and policies.
+ Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and other documentation.
+ Support the administration of the daily/weekly/monthly cycle count program, including related reporting.
+ Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
+ Assist in developing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards to measure and track operational performance.
+ Identify and resolve production issues by coordinating with management, team members, business partners, and IT.
+ Conduct manufacturing variance analysis, including: Labor utilization and efficiency. Headcount management and analysis by function/category.
+ Supporting the Finance Cost group in manufacturing processes.
+ Assisting Plant Management with data analytics and reporting.
+ Aid in internal and external audit requests.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
+ 3-7 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to manage large data sets.
+ Experience with Hyperion or similar planning tools
+ Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or similar)
+ Prior experience in the manufacturing industry required
