Robert Half Management Resources is currently seeking an interim Sr. Financial Analyst to support a contract role with a client in Delaware, Ohio. This role will be responsible for supporting financial planning and analysis tasks, including budgeting and forecasting. This role requires someone capable of storytelling and working with senior leaders, but also able to be very hands-on working with the models and excel spreadsheets. Part of this role will be reviewing inherited models to reverse engineer them and make necessary updates/improvements. This is a contract role to fill an immediate vacancy for at least a few months, with potential for long term hire if desired. Role is based 100% onsite at the client's location in Delaware, OH.
Responsibilities:
• Support the financial planning process by developing accurate budgets and forecasts
• Perform comprehensive data analysis to inform strategic decisions
• Facilitate the creation of dashboards for efficient data visualization and interpretation
• Develop financial projections to guide the institution's financial outlook
• Analyze marginal costs to devise effective budgeting strategies
• Use Microsoft Excel for various financial operations and Power BI to enhance data visualization
• Engage in regular review and enhancement of current financial models
• Present financial insights and narratives to the C-suite, promoting understanding and acceptance of financial outcomes
• Show resilience in the face of idea rejection and continue to propose innovative financial strategies.
Requirements
• 5 years of experience in the field of Financial Planning and Analysis
• Proven expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Proficiency in Financial Modeling and Data Analysis
• Demonstrable experience in developing accurate Financial Projections
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization and analysis
• A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized university
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
