Sr. Financial Analyst

Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, your duties will involve providing comprehensive financial reports, working closely with finance and business management and supporting the organization's growth through various analyses and projects.
Responsibilities:
• Delivering analytical support by developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.
• Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that influence company performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives.
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Creating financial models to project the financial implications of capital projects, including ROI and cash flow impacts.
• Supporting the development of the annual budget and long-term financial plans.
• Analyzing cost structures and recommending cost-saving measures to enhance profitability.
• Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement by developing KPIs for vital department metrics.
• Participating in ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required. Requirements • Proficient in business systems and processes
• Skilled in using Confluence for project management and collaboration
• Strong knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
• Experience with Crystal Reports for effective business reporting
• Familiarity with data mining techniques for strategic business analytics
• Comfortable using 'About Time' software for efficient workflow management
• Solid understanding of general accounting functions
• Proven ability in auditing, with a strong attention to detail
• Experience with budget processes, including planning, tracking, and reporting
• Knowledge of capital management strategies and principles
