Sr. Financial Analyst
Description We are actively seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team, based in Austin, Indiana. The role primarily involves managing financial tasks, focusing on pricing strategy, revenue recognition, and financial analysis in the industry. Key responsibilities: • Manage pricing strategies to ensure correct revenue recognition consistent with applicable accounting standards • Regularly audit pricing master data, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies • Evaluate and report on the financial impact of discounts, rebates, and promotional offers • Update quarterly forecasts and annual planning processes for Gross Revenue through Net Revenue • Oversee the management of accrual accounts, ensuring accruals are recorded in compliance with general accounting standards • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and accounting personnel to reconcile and validate accrual accounts and estimates • Coordinate, manage, and audit accounting and financials for brokerage activities • Generate routine reports of sales accruals, pricing performance, and brokerage accounts • Analyze and provide insights relating to pricing variances and brokerage accruals • Prepare reports on sales, customer, and product profitability. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role • Proficiency in Accounting Functions, including but not limited to, financial reporting and transaction processing • Experience in Auditing, including internal and external audits • Familiarity with Budget Processes, including planning, development, and execution • Knowledge of Capital Management strategies and principles • Proficiency in using SAP for financial management and reporting • Expertise in Pricing, including the development and implementation of pricing strategies • Experience with Pricing Analysis and the ability to interpret complex pricing data • Knowledge of various Pricing Models and their application in a business context Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
