Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Aerospace industry, located in ARVADA, Colorado. The chosen candidate will be responsible for various financial analysis tasks, utilizing a range of software tools to manage data and improve forecasting processes. Responsibilities: • Conduct advanced financial analysis using Microsoft Excel, leveraging tools such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex calculations. • Monitor and report on financial statuses and updates, including daily reports and monthly forecasts for both U.S. and international operations. • Utilize JD Edwards and Business Intelligence Unit software to maintain data accuracy and integrity. • Collaborate with diverse teams to contribute to financial planning processes. • Provide support for board presentations, management reports, and strategic planning initiatives when necessary. • Apply data mining techniques to improve budgeting and forecasting processes. • Ensure seamless accounting functions and budgeting processes. • Continually seek to enhance reporting and forecasting processes for better outcomes. Requirements • Strong proficiency in business systems and data mining techniques • Comprehensive understanding and experience with accounting functions • Demonstrated expertise in budget processes • Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Power BI or similar tools • Proven experience in financial analysis and financial analytics • Solid experience in budgeting and forecasting within the aerospace industry.
