Description We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Winston Salem, North Carolina. This role involves providing analytical, forecasting, and reporting support for management in the manufacturing industry. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be instrumental in maintaining cost accounting processes, producing monthly financial reports, and identifying opportunities for performance improvement. Responsibilities: • Support management through the provision of analytical, forecasting, and reporting services. • Produce key metrics, financial results, and variance reports on a monthly basis. • Maintain a cost accounting process that ensures accurate product costing. • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports that compare projected costs to actual production costs. • Reconcile periodic inventory reserves, analyze inventory for risk, and monitor inventory. • Complete general ledger closing entries and reporting at the end of each month/year. • Maintain balance sheet account reconciliation responsibilities. • Constantly stay informed about changes to accounting standards. • Identify potential areas for performance improvement across the organization. • Handle ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role • Proficiency in data mining techniques • Deep understanding of accounting functions • Extensive knowledge of budget processes • Experience in capital management • Familiarity with annual standard cost • Proficiency in cost-standard practices • Expertise in cost accounting and cost analysis • Ability to analyze cost variance • Experience in manufacturing cost accounting • Understanding of manufacturing costs and product costing • Expertise in budgeting and forecasting • Proficiency in forecasting and modeling Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
