Sr. Financial Analyst

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves collaborating with operations leaders, developing and maintaining financial models, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and conducting ad-hoc financial analysis. This position is within the industry and requires proficiency in business systems, Confluence, CRM, Crystal Reports, and data mining techniques, among other skills.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with operations leaders to collect data, comprehend P& L drivers, understand detailed working capital and cash flow requirements, and provide financial insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and cash flow statements, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Drive the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with the long-term strategic plan and tracking performance throughout the year.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems and reports.
• Continuously improve financial processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Adapt to a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, wearing multiple hats if needed and being a team player. Requirements • Proficient understanding and experience with business systems
• Familiarity with Confluence software
• Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
• Experience with Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of data mining techniques
• Proficiency in using About Time software
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions
• Experience in auditing practices and procedures
• Familiarity with budget processes
• Understanding of capital management strategies
