Sr. Financial Analyst
This is a full-time, exempt position located in San Diego, CA
Compensation band: $115,000 to $125,000 per year
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling, validating, and analyzing data to support the business.  Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and presentation of performance trend and variance analysis reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.Provide leadership with visibility of key financial and operational performance metrics, ensuring accurate, timely reporting to inform decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives.Create dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate performance using various systems and business intelligence platforms (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Power BI).Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting.Oversee and optimize the calculation and submission of commissions and incentives to accounting payroll and management teams.Run scenario analysis to understand the financial impact of proposed changes to commission and incentive plans. Manage and ensure data quality through regular maintenance and updating of systems and datasets.Lead efforts in reconciling system discrepancies through detailed analysis and process enhancements.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for key reporting processes and operational workflows.Drive collaboration with data owners to create and implement improvements that ensure data integrity and consistency.Identify and define new process improvement opportunities for operational efficiency.Uphold confidentiality and safeguard sensitive organizational and client data.Sr. Financial Analyst Position Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or a related analytical role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle confidential matters and information with the highest level of discretion.Prioritize daily issues, tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high standard of quality.Comfortable working independently; self-starter with a strong work ethic.$115,000 - $125,000 a yearSee what Mission has to offer!
