This Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) position will report to the Senior Finance Manager (SFM) and will support the Clinical Solutions Franchises within Quest – Cardiovascular, Metabolic & Endocrine (CVME), Infectious Disease and Immunology (IDI), Drug Monitoring (DM) and Women’s and Reproductive Health (W&RH). The SFA will support the SFM, be a business partner to the business leaders and will provide financial insights to help drive growth.

The individual in this role will need to be agile, adaptable, and flexible given the dynamic nature of the businesses and will work with the SFM and business partners to:

Create financial ROI models supporting proposed new product launches / initiativesBuild enhanced reporting capabilities Participate in strategic planning to grow the businessProvide day-to-day financial support
Support the business leadership by helping formulate business strategy, conduct detailed analysis, and provide financial insights on new product launches / initiativesProvide detailed analysis of current state of profitability and partner with the product teams to develop annual business plans Synthesize information from various sources to develop and create new dashboards and reporting tools to analyze business performanceCollaborate with cross functional teams (e.g. Commercial, Market Research & Analytics, Pricing etc) gain understanding of business drivers and present financial performance to various levels of management.Create operating financial models for product-based M&A transactionsSupport VP Finance / Finance Director with various ad-hoc information requests

Required Work Experience:  

4 - 6 years of relevant experience in large public or corporate accounting 

Skills:  

Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrates a strong knowledge of operational and financial processes and practical application of financial and strategic analysisDemonstrates skill in working with senior management and functional subject matter expertsStrong Excel skills are desiredExperience in PowerBI and/or Tableau preferredAttention to detailExcellent follow-up abilityProcess drivenCustomer service focused

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Master’s Degree/CPA preferred
