Sr. Financial Analyst/Manager
Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst/Manager in Dallas, Texas, United States. The position focuses on the financial industry, where you will partner with developers for accurate forecasting and analysis, build and manage project budgets, and prepare monthly financial reports. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate forecasting and analysis, becoming a trusted partner in the financial analysis process • Anticipate analytical needs and scrutinize all assumptions • Engage effectively with all functional areas within the company to provide optimal support • Build and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure efficient operations • Prepare month-end reporting of financial results, providing detailed reviews of results, assessing revenue and expenses • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in financial performance • Prepare month-end summary reports to the executive team with variance analysis • Compare actual vs budget, current forecast vs prior forecast, and current year actuals vs prior year actuals • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed • Utilize skills such as business systems, CRM, Crystal Reports, data mining techniques, accounting functions, auditing, and budget processes for optimal performance. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role as a Sr. Financial Analyst/Manager. • Proficiency in business systems and CRM software. • Familiarity with Confluence and Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools. • Strong understanding of data mining techniques. • Experience with "About Time" software or similar time tracking tools. • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions and auditing procedures. • Solid experience in budget processes and capital management. • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and presentation abilities. • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team. • High level of professionalism and ethical standards. • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature. • Good understanding of data privacy standards and financial regulations. • Ability to provide financial forecasting and diagnose financial performance.
