Hybrid position available! A large manufacturer based in Montvale, NJ is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their group on a long term contract basis.The Senior Financial Analyst will support FP& A operations by preparing annual budgets, managing a rolling forecast, preparing variance analysis, and delivering results to management.The Senior Financial Analyst will also be responsible for supporting monthly close processes specific to the P& L and Cost Center Accounting groups, which includes preparing journal entries (accruals, prepaids, reclasses), reviewing departmental spend, and reviewing GL transactions.The ideal Senior Financial Analyst will have recent experience with P& L Analysis, Cost Center Analysis, and budgeting/forecasting.Proficiency with SAP, SAP BPC, and Excel are a must!

Requirements • Proven experience in Budgeting and Forecasting within the manufacturing industry is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage an Annual Financial Plan.
• Proficiency in handling Monthly Accruals and Prepaids.
• Solid understanding and experience in Variance Analysis.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in using SAP for financial analysis and reporting.
• Prior experience in a senior financial analyst role within the manufacturing industry is required.
• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required, a Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven track record of improving processes and efficiency in a financial role.
