Sr. Financial Analyst with Financial Services Industry
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Coppell, Texas. The chosen candidate will join a team focused on corporate financial planning and analysis. The Sr. Financial Analyst will engage with various stakeholders including Accounting, Finance, Treasury and Financial systems teams to tackle complex issues that directly influence the company's internal and external financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Interpret financial results to provide a clear business narrative • Assist with the company’s budgeting and forecasting process • Implement mechanisms for new reporting insights at scale, making our data more actionable • Engage with business systems teams to drive accurate close • Assist in the development of CEO/CFO presentations to BOD and other internal/external constituencies • Provide valuable, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and future financial performance to the Business' leadership • Present ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to senior management • Serve as a key point of contact between accounting and system teams • Own several reporting functions for close, planning, and reporting cycles • Experience with Hyperion or large budgeting software a plus • Financial Services / Lending experience required Requirements Top 3 Keys: 1. Strong budgeting and forecasting experience 2. Experience with financial services (preferably commercial finance) required 3. Ability to produce executive level presentations Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Accountant/Analyst Software: Hyperion, Excel (Adv), PowerPoint Excel skills/tools: Advanced – SQL is a plus Candidates must have some type of Financial Services background working with Sales Finance, Cost of Money budgeting and understanding of macro-economic events on interest rates.
