Walsh Construction Group is currently seeking a Sr. Financial Manager for our Southeast Transportation Division, located in Atlanta, GA.

This role is almost completely advisory, working to further the goals of Walsh and project teams. Their knowledge goes beyond the overheads they manage and extends to business operations and strategy. Responsibilities include:
Has the ability to operate independently within each of The Walsh Group’s three divisionsPossesses a strong understanding of overall business group operationsSpend time developing overall business acumen and understanding of the construction industryPossesses familiarity with the key principals of US GAAPEmbraces and adapts to new technologies, actively engaging in strategic planning for existing and new platformsAnticipates and recognizes regional risks and proposes solutions for their mitigationLeads training sessions at a divisional level, mentors department staff and encourages growth in the accounting field within the Company.Represent the Company in Owner meetings and relations on major projectsDesign analytical reports and helps improve standardization across company Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent10+ years of accounting experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)Proficiency in CMiC is preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive.Ability to think strategically while identifying problems and developing creative solutionsUp to 30% of travel requiredThe Walsh Group offers competitive wages and benefits, including:
