Description Position Title: Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP& A) Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is responsible for planning, forecasting, reporting, long-term financial management, and supporting strategic initiatives. The role involves identifying, modeling, and recommending solutions for financial risks and opportunities, while communicating financial plans and strategies to team members and leadership. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills and reports directly to the Head of Finance. Essential Responsibilities: Provide strategic guidance and sound business decision support through financial analysis, collaboration, and strategic prioritization. Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to analyze historical performance, forecast trends, and evaluate business opportunities. Create and present the annual operating and capital budgets, maintain rolling forecasts, and report monthly and quarterly results. Fulfill and manage ad hoc requests, including complex analyses and cross-functional projects. Assist departments with business cases to support capital requests. Identify and analyze trends and recommend or implement cost-saving initiatives. Build relationships across departments to foster collaboration. Mentor and develop team members in financial modeling, data analysis, and best practices. Contribute to the professional growth and engagement of team members. Manage special projects and perform other complex duties as assigned. Minimum Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field Six years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, including at least three years in a managerial role. Advanced knowledge of financial concepts, accounting principles, and corporate finance. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, and AI tools. Experience with business planning tools such as SAP (BPC), Oracle (Hyperion), or similar systems. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Leadership and management skills to build and motivate a high-performing team. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Availability for occasional overnight travel (10%). Preferred Experience and Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, or Finance. Seven years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis. Expertise with enterprise financial systems (ERP, EPM) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
