Description
We are offering a long-term remote contract employment opportunity for a Sr. FP& A Analyst to join our SAAS client based in Jersey City, New Jersey. The role involves a variety of tasks including the development and maintenance of financial models, budgets, and forecasts to optimize efficiency. The chosen candidate will be expected to work closely with department leads and the accounting team, providing key insights and analysis to support the growth of the business. The ideal candidate will have worked on sales commission structures and comfortable working closely with the sales team.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Anaplan software to develop and maintain financial planning and reporting models
• Work closely with department leads in strategic and financial planning discussions, including forecast and budget
• Analyze trends, results, and forecast to actual variances, identifying risks and opportunities and effectively communicating these insights to leadership
• Collaborate with the accounting team during the monthly close process to ensure the accuracy of financials and integration of data
• Oversee the sales commission payout process
• Carry out ad-hoc analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement in support of business growth
• Assist in the documentation of policies and procedures within the department and the development of new corporate policies/procedures.
Requirements
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce is essential for the role of Sr. FP& A Analyst.
• Tableau skills are required to effectively handle data visualization tasks.
• Extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is necessary.
• The candidate must be skilled in Variance Analysis for accurate financial reporting.
• A strong background in Budgeting and Forecasting is vital to meet the financial objectives of the company.
• The Sr. FP& A Analyst role requires strong strategic planning abilities.
• Data Modeling skills are crucial for effective financial analysis and planning.
• Proficiency in Data Visualization is required for clear and effective presentation of financial data.
