Sr. FP&A Consultant
Job Title: FP&A ConsultantJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist with monthly and quarterly financial processes, including reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting. This role involves preparing annual budgets, managing headcount updates, overseeing capital depreciation, and enhancing capacity reporting. The consultant will also support various teams and departments in financial planning and analysis, ensuring accurate budgeting for contract renewals, and participating in ad hoc projects. Responsibilities + Collaborate with a new analyst to manage monthly and quarterly financial processes. + Prepare monthly close and reporting, including recurring journal entries. + Conduct monthly flash reports and variance analysis after close meetings. + Assist with quarterly forecasts and prepare for annual budget season by gathering information from various teams and analyzing results. + Help prepare presentations to explain budget variances. + Manually update headcount for 1500 employees and address related queries. + Support 67 different teams and departments with the Empower planning system. + Oversee capital depreciation processes, preparing reports and forecasts in Excel. + Track monthly investments manually. + Enhance quarterly capacity reporting processes and reports. + Develop financial models to track revenue by brand and support enterprise reporting. + Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivots, vlookups, and macros. + Work with global sourcing, project management, and accounting teams to ensure accurate budgeting for contract renewals. + Participate in ad hoc projects and support UAT for implementation processes. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent. + 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 3+ years in FP&A. + 1+ year of experience with Excel, including financial modeling and analytical techniques. + Understanding of capital depreciation. + Experience supporting multiple departments. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills. + Experience with financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling. + Proficiency in process improvement and automation. + Experience with monthly and quarterly reporting. + Familiarity with financial systems and journal entries. Work Environment This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home (Monday and Friday remote). The office is located in a beautiful high-rise building in Scottsdale. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
