What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Director, Frontline Platform Strategy, the Sr. Frontline Platform Strategy Consultant will play a key part of an innovative, “first to market” business & technology culture, transforming CIBC’s tools and platforms, used by over 20,000 frontline team members to deliver exceptional client experiences every day. As a Sr. Frontline Platform Strategy Consultant you will partner with business and technology partners to develop the end-to-end capability and hardware strategy for CIBC’s frontline channels (branches, mobile advice, contact centres) and maintain an industry view on relevant trends in the market.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How You’ll Succeed
Platform Strategic Design & Planning - Build comprehensive Frontline Platform strategy and multi-year roadmaps with internal stakeholders to enable us to deliver on our mandate, goals and objectives.
Research - Conduct research to evaluate potential AI and GenAI opportunities and ensure the team has robust competitive intelligence and strong awareness of trends, industry developments, client needs and regulatory changes.
Business Architecture – Bridge the gap between technology architecture and business process design, aligning business operations and strategic priorities with complex infrastructure requirements, creating actionable strategies that keep the client and employee experience front and centre
Innovation, Client Focus - Stay up to date on latest innovations and challenge the status quo while bringing a client focus on clients and users
Who You Are
You are a Digital pioneer, with extensive knowledge & work experience with technology (e.g. apps; web/mobile tech; windows based applications and platforms, legacy/mainframe platform modernization). It is an asset if you have experience with PEGA and Salesforce. A general passion for all things innovation & digital is a must!
You can demonstrate 3-5 years of work experience in leading design thinking sprints, bringing innovation methodology to connect the dots between the enterprise, business unit and distribution/channel strategies to future proof the business.
You are a strategic thinker and make recommendations to ensure outcomes align to collective organizational and distribution strategy goals and objectives. Must have experience in financial analysis and strategic prioritization .
You are an inspiring storyteller with the ability to understand and address user needs through research and observation, ensuring solutions are user-centric. Effectively utilizing Agile practices to adapt quickly to changes and continuously improve design processes. utilizing both oral and written (PowerPoint, videos, etc.) communication mediums to effectively sell an idea to a wide variety of audiences, including senior executives.
