We are the Retail Hub team responsible for designing, building and maintaining the platform that hosts over 20 applications and 1300 business users daily in merchandising space. We are working on expanding providing access to internal and external users that execute critical flows across merchandising, inventory, supply chain and finance domains. We are looking for an engineer that has experience and passion to own the development lifecycle across the stack, a true owner at heart.
A day in the life...
Get the opportunity to be one of the development leads in a full stack platform
Help develop common web features, libraries, and services that power merch, inventory, supply chain and finance web flows
Mentor a team of skilled engineers while you get direct mentorship and support to grow your career to the next level
Design, prototype and build, you will be hands on, show delivery mentality, leading by example the junior engineers in the team.
Lead and enforce Nordstrom / industry engineering standards and be active in the community of practice
Operate across the stack, you will be required to display an operational mindset, support and ensure reliability of the solution
You own this if you have...
7+ years of industry experience
Comfortable developing React.js, Node,js, TypeScript technologies.
Comfortable designing and implementing Restful / GraphQL services preferably in Java or other OOP languages
Have experience working with AWS or any other cloud provider, exposure to k8s and Kafka, being comfortable with infrastructure as code (terraform)
Experience with micro-frontend architecture, responsive design and web security controls
Have experience solving for scale, make sure engineering KPIs and SLAs are met
Customer focused mentality, as a platform developer you must understand how client teams will use the features you develop
Think deeply about the underlying system that is running your code, test driven development that prioritizes quality.

Washington: $120,500-$220,500 annuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
