Position Specific Description

Position is primarily responsible for scheduling transportation of natural gas to facilities as required for the utility Verifies accuracy of portfolio and assists back office with monthly closing processes Works closely with various teams within EMT including Trading, Origination, and Analytics Ensure alignment and compliance with all relevant management systems and Risk guidelines Develop and maintain relationships with gas producers and marketers Engages and supports gas optimization trading activities Responsible for after-hours and weekend on call responsibilities as part of a rotation Required participation/presence for all critical events, including potential relocation to back-up site during extreme weather events

Job Overview

This position is responsible for scheduling transportation of natural gas, fuel oil, and/or wholesale power purchases and/or sales to facilities as required for unit obligations. Employees in this role ensure scheduling processes take place in a correct and timely manner with regard to applicable regulations, policies, and deadlines. Individuals provide subject matter expertise regarding market rules related to scheduling and guidance to less experienced schedulers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•   Generates accurate and timely reports for all responsibility areas to balance and manage physical controlled business
•   Inputs, verifies, and adjusts physical flows and transported volumes into computerized management system
•   Verifies accuracy of portfolio, assists back office with monthly closing process
•   Provides alternate routing to ensure contractual obligations met
•   Acts as a lead on various projects and/or assignments
•   Mentors or leads less experienced schedulers
•   Performs other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
