Primary responsibilities are to coordinate and support the maintenance activities of TIMET global facilities through effective standardization, use of SAP CMMS, training, identify OEE driven equipment reliability projects and initiate capital projects to improve safety, performance, throughput, and automation.
This includes, but not limited to, evaluate, develop, and improve predictive and preventive maintenance programs, lead rebuild/repair projects, storeroom inventory interface with SAP and standardized maintenance reporting metrics. Also includes assisting/leading facilities through FMEA’s, criticality analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and identifying maintenance bad actors. Provide equipment training as needed to enhance reliability.
Up to 50-75% travel may be required globally.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Thorough understanding of plant equipment, processes, and procedures
SAP CMMS skills needed to develop plant wide equipment hierarchy, PM & PdM plans, storeroom inventory
Coordinate and support SAP CMMS activities through effective standardization and execution
Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies and programs
Continuously review and monitor maintenance programs, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance and compliance objectives
Ensure maintenance planning and scheduling meet operation goals and objectives
Identify and lead maintenance bad actor and OEE driven equipment reliability projects
Identify and develop business case for reliability engineering projects
Support EHS team to ensure compliance and maintenance for critical resources
Possess project management skills needed to plan, manage and execute several projects involving multiple resources simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access (optional)
Qualifications
4-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 5-7 years of experience or 10+ years heavy equipment maintenance and/or machinery rebuild experience specifically w/ forge presses.
