Sr. Global Sourcing Manager, Key Technologies

Position Summary

As Global Sourcing Manager, Key Technologies you will engage business budget owners to drive short-term and long-term sourcing activities, including strategic sourcing projects, contract management, supplier negotiations, and relationship building. This position offers opportunities to influence global supply chain strategies and drive organizational transformation through innovative sourcing initiatives. Your efforts will drive cost savings, enhance supplier and budget performance, and ensure seamless procurement operations globally. The scope of this role includes Trojan Technologies “Key Technologies” category including, Lamps, Electronic Drivers/Ballasts, PCBA’s and Quartz.

Accountabilities

Strategic Leadership: Execute strategic sourcing initiatives and integrate them effectively into the organization. Partner with global functional leaders to drive cost-saving projects across all indirect categories. Develop and align category strategies to meet evolving business objectives.Supplier Management: Cultivate strategic supplier partnerships to drive continuous improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and service. Lead negotiations, manage contracts, and enforce performance standards aligned with organizational goals. Monitor and hold suppliers accountable for performance levels, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop and utilize tools and maintain infrastructure to track and optimize supplier spend effectivelyCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Veralto and other Operating Companies to design and execute strategic initiatives. Foster internal partnerships across key functions, including Operations, HR, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Legal, and Corporate Procurement, to drive procurement excellence.Operational Excellence: Lead supplier transitions to competitive global suppliers, ensuring uninterrupted material and service availability. Utilize web-based procurement tools and online bidding platforms to achieve performance objectives. Champion continuous process improvement initiatives within procurement operations.Market Insights: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global market conditions impacting assigned categories. Use data-driven insights to defend and refine sourcing strategies.VES: Leverage and maintain proficiency in Veralto Enterprise Systems tools, including SBM and CFSM, to drive continuous improvement and promote best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or applicable.Minimum of 7 to 10 years of procurement / category management experience.5 years global sourcing experience for a global manufacturing company. Key focus around UVc lamp technology, PCBA (and electronics) as well as Quartz production preferred.5 years of experience in leading Global Value Sourcing projects – start to finish3 years of MRP / ERP materials planning system experience. Baan or LN experience is a plus3 years of experience with the usage of electronic sourcing tools for RFI, RFQ, Reverse Auction.3 years of experience working with R&D, New Product Development & Engineering teams in aproduct/project environment.3 years of experience procuring custom engineered equipment (water treatment industry preferred).3 years or conducting business travel outside of North America.
