Sr HR Business Partner AMS Sales

The Role

Proofpoint, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to collaborate closely with senior leadership in our Americas Sales function, supporting organizational growth and transformation. As a strategic HR leader, you will align HR strategies with business objectives, drive organizational effectiveness, and lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and development within the Americas Sales team. This role requires a strong business acumen, strategic mindset, and the ability to influence change at all levels of the organization. Location: Based in Americas Region

Your day-to-day

• Partner with executive leadership within Americas Sales to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, priorities, and industry best practices.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters, providing insights, recommendations, and solutions to drive business performance and employee engagement.

• Lead workforce planning initiatives, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational design to support growth and scalability of the Americas Sales function.

• Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and talent development strategies to optimize team performance and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver innovative solutions in areas such as compensation, benefits, talent development, and employee relations specific to Americas Sales.

• Lead change management efforts to support organizational transformation, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive successful change initiatives within the Americas Sales team.

• Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and measure HR impact.

What you bring to the team

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, including at least 1 year in a strategic HRBP capacity supporting sales or commercial functions.

• Proven track record of successfully partnering with senior executives to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives within a sales environment.

• Strong knowledge and expertise in talent management, organizational development, and HR best practices applicable to sales organizations.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decision-making and measure HR impact on business performance.

• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.

The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable pay and/or equity. Base Pay Range: 116,690.00 - 183,370.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 96,880.00 - 152,240.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 87,220.00 - 137,060.00 USD
