What You Will Contribute:
You will be responsible for leading, supporting, and facilitating the delivery of HR services to the organization while delivering high impact and value. You will work closely with the leadership teams and provide expert advice and coaching to drive and support their business objectives. You will play a major role in the management of various projects throughout the business, actively participating in project teams, and implementing initiatives while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration within departments and the HR Team.
Job Duties:
Serve as a trusted advisor for the business, using external and internal insights, data and trends to identify and help solve key people and business issues including solutions to attract, engage and retain talent.
Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to employees and leaders in the areas of performance management, organizational design, employee and leader development, talent review, workforce planning, employee engagement and retention, rewards and recognition, and employee leave of absences.
Provide employee relations guidance to leaders and employees (performance coaching, investigations, and disciplinary actions) and propose solutions that are in line with Badger Meter’s policies and practices and legal requirements.
Act as a liaison with leaders and talent acquisition to ensure recruitment of candidates including candidate assessment and selection processes result in high quality hires.
Partner with leaders and HR/Total Rewards to ensure compensation and benefits for team members is competitive and appropriate.
Develop and monitor regular reports to ensure HR metrics are quantified and outcome driven.
Partner with HR/Talent Management to identify training and development needs and implement talent development programs.
Lead projects to support customer needs, such as career path development and implementation.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, communications, psychology, or related field required
5+ years of related experience in multiple HR disciplines (employee relations, compensation, employee development, and recruiting) preferred
Qualifications:
PHR/SHRM-CP Certification preferred
Intermediate ability to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience required
Intermediate understanding of federal and state employment laws required
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred
