Sr. HR Manager France / Italy

In this role, you will report to the EMEA Manufacturing HR Director and work closely with the EMEA HR Team as well as leaders and employees within the global SBD team. The position is based out of Besancon, France.

Main responsibilities:

Manage and develop a team of HR Managers located in our plants in France and ItalyCoordinate and execute HR projectsTranslate and implement the global HR policies and programs within France and ItalyManage and resolve complex employee relations issues as neededConduct and lead on investigations as requiredProvide day to day performance management guidance to direct reports and management (e.g. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)Work with direct reports, management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retentionProvide HR policy guidance and interpretationClose collaboration with the works council and unionLead business restructures, workforce planning and succession planningIdentify training needs and implement appropriate solutions

Required skills:

Fluent in English and French (German or Italian are a plus)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skillsExcellent experience with the French Administration, Union and Works CouncilExcellent Working knowledge of French and Italian employment law and industry best practicesPrevious experience working in HR in a manufacturing environmentBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required5 - 7 years of progressive HR experience including leadershipExcellent Working knowledge of French and Italian employment law and industry best practicesStrong coaching mentalityProven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organizationResults oriented mindset with ability to prioritize and complete projects.Self-motivated individual with the desire to succeed and motivate othersWorkday software experience (preferred)
