Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked.  Trust us on that.  The qualified person has at least 5 years of Payroll & HRIS experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept.  A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/HR is strongly preferred.  This role is based in our office in Monrovia, California.
The Sr. Payroll/HRIS Analyst is responsible for:Processing full cycle multi-state payroll.Reviewing payroll data and documents for accuracy.Processing tax deductions and other government-mandated deductions.Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws.Researching new tax and sick leave laws.Creating or modifying reports in HRIS system.Creating or modifying workflows in HRIS system.Utilizing communication, analytical and technical skills effectively with all HR functions and HRIS system provider to ensure proper completion of projects.Participating in routine meetings and projects as requested.The qualified candidate has:Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.Working knowledge of Dayforce HRIS is a major plus.CCP is a plus.We want to hear from you!
