CORE JOB FUNCTIONS 1. Collaborates with stakeholders across various functions to gather, clarify, and document reporting and analytic requirements for both recurring and ad hoc reports, as well as special projects. 2. Extracts data, manipulates, and explores data using quantitative, statistical, and visualization tools, and create detailed reports for stakeholders. 3. Contributes to the development and maintenance of HR dashboards and reports, providing real-time data insights to HR leadership and other stakeholders. 4. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of data through a robust validation process. Safeguards the confidentiality of data by adhering to established security and privacy standards. 5. Identifies opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency through data-driven decision-making. 6. Applies best practices in HR data analytics and stays up to date with industry trends and technological advancements. 7. Works closely with HR business partners, IT, and other departments to ensure data alignment and integration. 8. Advises functional teams on the selection, application, and implementation of key HR metrics. 9. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. CORE QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field Certification and Licensing: Not Applicable Experience: Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: + Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions. + Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail. + Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines. + Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment. + Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. + Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships. + Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office) DEPARTMENT ADDENDUM Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, R, or Power BI.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices.Experience with Workday Reporting and data integration strongly preferred.
