As a member of the HUGO BOSS Human Resources team, the Sr. Human Resources Generalist, DC provides support to all HR functions at our Distribution Facility in Midway Georgia, including talent review and acquisition, performance management, health & safety, organizational capability and design, compensation, employee relations, leadership development and training to deliver easy access, quality service
What you can expect:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
\n\n\n\tPartner in managing projects, programs and practices that engage, inspire, and recognize workforce performance.\n\tPartner in implementing and communicating company policies and procedures and collecting bargaining agreement procedures to managers and team members.\n\tEnsure health and safety practices are being adhered to and meet compliance standards.\n\tEnsure all leave of absence and work compensation claims are managed timely and appropriately.\n\tManage employee relation matters for the Office and Facility.\n\tCoach employees on policy and procedure applications, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, and change management to promote a fair and equitable work environment.\n\tFacilitate HR administration, including initiatives based on changes in compliance regulations.\n\tPartner in implementing and overseeing the performance management process and other talent management processes, organizational assessment, learning strategies, and leadership development.\n\tManage the recruitment process; place job postings, phone screen potential candidates, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, reference and background checks, rejection letters.\n\tManage the New Hire Induction process for Corporate and Bargaining Unit team members.\n\tPartner with HR Director and VP of Distribution in working with internal departments to resolve complex HR issues.\n\tMaintain and update organization charts as needed.\n\tCreate and maintain accurate job descriptions for every position, inclusive of Savannah Bargaining Unit positions.\n\tManage labor, health & safety posters.\n\tManage employee record compliance; Maintaining files.\n\tComplete employment verifications and letters of employment.\n\tPrepare all HR related documents for HRIS entry (PAFs) and SAP data input. \n\tComplete PAF’s and PAFT’s for all corporate employees\n\tOther duties, research, and special projects as assigned.\n\t \n
Your profile:
\n\tBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Psychology preferred.\n\tMinimum 3-5 years of Generalist experience, preferable Union experience.\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\tStrong follow-up skills.\n\tAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail.\n\tExcellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work effectively.\n\tStrong relationship-building and customer service skills.\n\tAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.\n\tAbility to work with all levels of employees.\n\tKnowledge of HR employment related laws/practices.\n\tProficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
