Sr. Human Resources Manager

Position Overview:

The Sr. HR Manager is pivotal in providing strategic and operational HR support to our Corporate Team Members and Distribution Centers. The Sr. HRM will drive HR initiatives, enhancing employee engagement, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations. This position reports directly to the VP of Talent Management and has one direct report.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the VP of Talent Management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and business goals. Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. Drive HR initiatives that support organizational growth and employee development. Provide guidance and support to Corporate Team Members and Distribution Center employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution. Act as a strategic business partner to management, providing guidance and recommended courses of action on employee relations issues. Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Participate in the recruitment and selection process for Corporate Office positions, ensuring the hiring of top talent. Assist in onboarding new Team Members to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization. Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues and ensure consistent application of performance management practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor's degree. 7 + Years' experience in human resources. Travel as required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships. Ability to exercise good judgment and work independently. Must demonstrate consistency, accuracy and follow-through. Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle sensitive date and multi-task to meet deadlines. Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage time efficiently with the ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
