Key Responsibilities:

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

Source solutions and services that may include software, IT hardware, and various professional service offerings.Recommend targets to improve value such as high revenue, spending reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services, and supplier managementAnalyze sourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categoriesParticipate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal-setting

Cost Management & Analysis

Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue leversDrive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targetsProvide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal partnersLeverage should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace

Negotiation

Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiationsIncorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiationsDevelop a contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and build, negotiate, monitor, and enforce contracted terms and conditionsExperience in negotiating contracts and terms for software and professional services preferred.

Business Partnering

Collaborate with Team members and suppliers to deliver strategic solutionsDevelop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key partnersDrive a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing ProcurementServe as a consultant and trusted partner for procurement process and supplier issues.

Supplier Performance Management

Lead overall Strategic Supplier relationships within the assigned categoriesCollaborate internally to drive key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers and supervise supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvementLead strategic supplier engagement events, such as Annual Supplier Evaluations
