Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of the technical team supporting innovative infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Sr. Infrastructure Engineer **Location:** Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid work schedule **Pay Range:** $73.68 per hour (W2 Only) **What's the Job?** + Responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards, and policies. + Primary contributor to the creation of infrastructure tools and their integration as an infrastructure service. + Facilitates deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks, and automation to be used during implementation. + Consistently looks for opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency when implementing and maintaining infrastructure tools and/or services. + Drives collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base. **What's Needed?** + Degree in computers or information technology. + At least 8 years of expert-level solution design experience in infrastructure areas like Unix, Windows, Middleware, and Database. + Experience in system/database/middleware administration and design support in a large-scale environment, preferably in the financial services industry. + Good understanding of the overall infrastructure domain, including the complete network and application development stack. + Familiarity with the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications hosted on Windows and Unix platforms. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment. + Engagement with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs. + Chance to contribute to a culture that values diversity and promotes positive change. + Ability to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams to drive innovation. + Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
