Job Summary:

Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for the project completion, execution, assembly, and installation of products while providing a safe, efficient, and courteous delivery to our customers. This position provides project execution and expertise in planning, personnel assignment, product installation, layout, manage multi-step assembly, customer sign-off, and timeliness of project completion. Assist in helping load and unload items and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle and installation site. Incumbent must be able to work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility of scheduling to ensure operational success. This includes, but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts and/or weekend shifts. Primary job functions are to provide tier 2 level service, float and cover work in the event of employee absences, mentor and/or train new employees when needed.

Job Description:

We are looking to fill this role with a motivated individual located in Melrose Park, IL or Elk Grove Village, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

Help assemble and install products for all customers and manufacturers within a home location or job siteOversee the processes that ensure products are properly assembled per manufacturer's specifications, test for proper functionality and load, unload and install safely, according to local codes and standards without damage to product or customer locationIdentify and resolve any issues in a professional and effective manner to ensure a positive outcomeInteract with coworkers and customers in a professional, fast-paced environment to ensure customer needs are met while building a strong working relationship with a positive attitude.Understand and promote all JBHT safety requirements including required use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety of self and co-workers; adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure job site is safe for product installation and free from hazards and obstructions that could endanger workers or damage the delivery siteDirect installation activities and personnel on job sites to ensure that safety procedures are followed, time commitments are met, and projects are completed to the customer's satisfactionManage the training and adherence to bolt-down process for large equipment on job sites and/or the install of specialized equipment/productsGet customer sign-off on successful project completion and maintain regular communication with project leaders on project statusCoordinate internal logistics to ensure equipment, tools, and project-related items arrive on-site in a timely manner as neededEnsure job site is safe for product installation and free from hazards and obstructions that could endanger workers; perform quality control checks to ensure adherence to all safety measuresConduct and review property damage assessment from customer complaints and PD ClaimsGuide and train new personnel on job site activities, policies, and processes

The expected hourly rate for this position is $22.50 per hour.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification:

18 years of age with 1-2 years of relevant experienceMust posses a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record as per JBHT standards;Must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed

Preferred Qualification:

3 or more years experience with High School Diploma/GED, experience in installing appliances, manual or physical labor, construction site preferred; successful completion of bolt-down proficiency training;OSHA 10 Certification;Possession of a valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets JBHT standards

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
