Description Robert Half is recruiting for an interim Senior Internal Auditor/ Consultant for a public works client. The Senior Internal Auditor will evaluate and test internal controls to ensure their effectiveness. In addition, the Senior Auditor will develop effective findings and recommendations about processes. This role will be located hybrid in Chino, CA ( or possibly fully remote) Technical Skills: - Perform comprehensive internal operational and compliance audits from start to finish - Review programs, process and procedures - Preferably have an Understanding of construction and IT audits - Test internal controls and procedures - Develop effective findings and recommendations about processes - Heavy excel and word - Hybrid work schedule - Knowledge and familiarity with the Institute of Internal Auditors, Standards Soft Skills - Attention to detail - Able to communicate at various levels within the organization - Excellent communication skills both oral and written (able to write comprehensive audit reports) Requirements • Proficiency in Audit Program development and execution • Solid understanding of various Business Systems • Experience presenting to and working with Audit Committees • Ability to document, analyze, and present Audit Findings • Strong background in Auditing practices and methodologies • Proven track record in designing and implementing Audit Plans • Experience in Corporate Internal Audit within the utilities/infrastructure industry • Strong knowledge and understanding of Audit Compliance rules and regulations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
