Sr. IT Auditor
Description We are in search of a Sr. IT Auditor to join our team. In the manufacturing industry, this role will be pivotal in conducting IT auditing and maintaining IT control frameworks. The employment opportunity is permanent. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular audits and reviews of IT systems, ensuring all aspects comply with company regulations and standards. • Manage ITGC risk and compliance processes, including SOX audit testing and addressing gaps with control owners. • Maintain an in-depth understanding of business processes, process controls, and risks, effectively applying this knowledge to the IT environment and audit procedures. • Utilize accounting software systems and other tools such as Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP. • Exercise strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex IT issues. • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering strong working relationships. • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective presentations to peers and management. • Uphold the core values of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competency, promoting an ethical culture within the team. • Handle the architecture of computer systems, including operating systems, networks, databases, and ERP systems, with a particular focus on SAP. • Be prepared to travel as required for the role. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory • Demonstrated ability to manage Audit Programs effectively • Working knowledge of CaseWare software • Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx is highly desirable • Expertise in using CobiT framework is a must • A strong understanding of Accounting Functions is required • Proven experience in managing Audit Engagements • Ability to document and present Audit Findings in a clear and concise manner • Experience in designing and implementing Audit Plans.
